If you like Rick Riordan, I think he wrote The Maze of Bones in The 39
Clues series. It’s a pretty long series (10 books) and has a sequel-ish
    series called Vespers vs Cahills.´╗┐

You should watch the show and then read the books, this is the only series
where I do this, it helps me much more to understand everything and kind of
have an image of who is who in this world. There are so many characters
    that it is insane!

idk if you have it, but you should really read The House of the Scorpion!
it’s an amazing YA book about a boy, named Matt, who is a clone, and his
struggles to fit in w/ humans that hate him.
