In 1963, in the midst of the heated debate over the desegregation of American schools, the University of Alabama announced that it would for the first time a…

THESE GIRLS HAVE BEEN WHITE WASHED………..I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN
View CommentCOMMON WITH WHITES…….EXCEPT OF COURSE THE
USUAL……..LEBRON….OBAMA…..OPRAH….OTHER THAN THAT…..NOTHING..
Lol its Alabama what else do you expect it’s the south duh
View CommentBlack people need to make their own shit and stop trying to fuck with other
View Commentpeople, ESPECIALLY White people.
I doubt that the politically correct dopes who made this video would decry
View Commentthe Nation of Islam, loosely called Black Muslims–a large segregationist
organization that not only excludes Caucasians but characterizes them as
“white devils.” A lot of noise is made about a small group of schoolgirls,
and little if anything is said about truly monumental bigotry. No double
standard?!
In the internets segregation is common sense.
View CommentMan, fuck the South.
I know thats a rather harsh generalization, but fuck it – I cant say I’ve
View Commentever met a person from that South-Eastern US that wasn’t largely a cunt,
regardless of ethnicity/race or gender.
If I avoid a neighborhood because I don’t want to be robbed, it’s not
View Commentbecause I’m racist it’s because I’m most likely to be robbed in a black
hood when I’m white. Stats back me up 100% so, maybe if blacks don’t want
to be ‘discriminated’ against they should stop with the racist double
standards.
Racism is wrong. For years, I tried to understand and treat everyone
View Commentequally and with respect. I stood up against wrongs I saw and heard. That
said, I hear, see, feel, experience, and endure racism by blacks towards me
and other white people all of the time. I no longer understand nor let it
go. I do not care anymore. I give what I get. All white people should stand
up for themselves and not take any shit off of any black person from now
on. Give what you get.
While I totally agree with the elimination of racism in Greek Life, be
View Commentcareful not to accidentally force reverse racism, such as the case with the
original stipulations of Affirmative Action. Anyways, Roll Tide and all
that jazz. Good luck Mallet Society, looking forward to hearing about your
progress.
That’s a shame. Thing is, racism works every which way and as long as one
keeps it up they all will. Couldn’t even begin to count the amount of times
I’ve been referred to as a cracker, honkey, white-bread, snowball, etc.
over XBox Live without ever dropping an indication of what race I belong
to. Basically, the people who do that just categorize everyone as whatever
they have an avid dislike for or perceive as the most offensive terms for
degradation that come to mind– which is typically racially motivated.
Personally, I believe it’s one part a refusal to willingly change and lay
View Commentthe past to rest in lieu of not wanting to relinquish notions and
lifestyles of familiarity and one part “Divide & Conquer.” The latter is
particularly for politicians and corporations.
wtf did i just watch?
View Commentif you ever went to school, prison, or lived in a neighborhood, you realize
View Commentthat segregation happens naturally so their is no reason to govern it…
The only racism I support is racism against stupidity, hate and
View Commentsegregation. I know it doesn’t have anything to do with race but with heart
and soul it does. I use the term to go against those negative things. With
lack of love will breed bad things and these bad things are which we should
be against. There is hate all around us, let’s kill it and breed nothing
but love.
Who was that snob that asked the film crew to move over?
View CommentPretty ironic considering their world class football team is probably 70%
View Commentblack. I’m not sure why anybody would find anything depicted here
surprising? It’s freaking Alabama the embodiment of intolerance, hate, and
ignorance. It’s a shame that any black man would even sellout and play for
that freaking team considering the history of that institution.
The sad truth is in many ways things haven’t changed. You’re welcome if
View Commentyou play sports or the children of stars. Not so much if you’re not.
White Americans in general distrust and dislike Blacks. Not hate or want
to kill mind you but they’d rather not be around them.
racism is good if you use it in the right way
View CommentThe kids in Mallet are just mad they didn’t get the bid.
View CommentNews flash–Greek life is by nature exclusionary, and excludes many white
View Commentfolks. The Greek system should be abolished, but not because they do not
cow-tow to the multi-culti musketeers.
i wouldnt want to join an all white anything. like, why would u wanna do
View Commentthat. i mean they’re wrong for not letting her join because she is black
but im just sayin I would never find my black ass in Alabama trying to join
an all white ANYTHING.
The University of Alabama is a mickey mouse institution. The only good
View Commentthing they have going on is their football team. It does not take much
gray matter to get into such a sub par university.
I’m not saying racism is intelligent at all, but it’s not exclusively
View Commentamerican. you can find racism in all corners of the earth. doesn’t matter
what race you are, there’s a different race that thinks less of you for it.
it’s been around since the beginning of man. once you realize that humans
are predisposed to this behavior you’ll realize how simple minded we really
are.
why’s everybody gotta be so mean :(
View CommentCan white people get into a black sorority?

View CommentAre there courses when you have to write over 20 pages? I had courses when

I’ve watched a couple of your vids and kept thinking why your accent sounds
View Commentfamiliar and you’re from Liverpool! You’ve got a little scouse twang. From
Liverpool myself. Love your vids xx
its 2 and a half months since I started uni and although at the start I was
View Commentenjoying it im extremely homesick and I hate it! im crying everynight and I
can tell my flatmates are sick of it, im going home every weekend or twice
a month but it still isn’t enough. I don’t know what to do, I still want to
stay and get a degree but I cant deal with crying myself to sleep for much
longer?!
Hey, hoping for some advice… I’m doing my AS levels currently and I’m
View Commentfinding it hard to keep on top of the work as well as stay motivated!
Starting uni soon! Dentistry ftw
View CommentYou have to find the right balance between work and going out. Sure I’m
View Commentgoing to have fun, but I’m also going to get a good degree. Not sure if I
should go Notts or Exeter
I still have two years to go until i finish school and I’m thinking about
View Commentuni already and I’m quite scared to leave school because i just lack
confidence i mean i can’t talk to anyone new because I’m scared I’ll say
something stupid. This video helped me a lot 🙂
Yeah it costs 30+ grand. It’s not there to have a toss, have fun work hard
View Commentthis determines the rest of your life in most cases. Main focus should be
working hard not if you can go through a ton of alcohol!
could you do a video about an english degree please? like what it involves

That was a really helpful video, I’ve been debating for ages whether I
View Commentshould go to Uni, I think I have come to the decision that I will! I guess
I’m quite like you not the most confident person but love to party and have
a good time! I hope I just don’t find it too hard to settle in! Good advice
though thanks 🙂
HOLLA TOPSHOP. This was so helpful thank you!
View CommentIm in the process of applying to uni right now- this has been SO helpful.
View CommentThank you Lucy! xx
Thankyou for this! I just graduated from high school and now i’m on a one

its such a big step… (Im from Holland) i really want it tho
Thank you so much 🙂 This was very helpful! x
View Commenti really struggled with it! take lots of things with you that remind you of
View Commenthome, like photos and trinkets and stuff to make your room really homely 🙂
make sure you keep in lots of contact with people at home, and don’t deny
yourself if you fancy a weekend back there. but try not to spend too much
time there and exclude yourself from uni stuff 🙂 hope you’re okay!
Any advice on dealing with homesickness at university?

There are some great blogs on whatuni including mine, ‘The importance of
View Commentresearch’. Do your research! I know people that have a First Class degree
(from a top 10 uni), a PHD in maths and they cannot get a job in finance.
I’m guessing you just completed your final year? I think it’s disgusting
View Commentthat the education system is letting people down so much. Did you not take
part in the taster sessions that were launched 5 years ago? Did you
complete the questionnaire which suggests occupations and courses that
would be suitable? My blog is on whatuni ‘The importance of research’ if
you want to read it. Nice to see careers advisors getting better training
now, but that’s only because student loans have been written off
The video was filled with helpful info thanks! I am from California and
View Commentplan on studying abroad at London CSM for fashion – public relations but
i’m not quite sure if that’s what i wanna do. I just wanna work for like a
fashion brand company on the buissness side or with a magazine on edeting
and such…any recomendations?
You’re so right, it’s crazy money. But looking at the big picture, the
View Commentamount you’ll be owing by the end is so huge that another few grand won’t
make a MASSIVE difference in all honesty. And if it means you’ll be a lot
happier, than it’s probably worth it 🙂
The only worry I have about changing course is the student loan..so much
