The book is horrible as the Holy Scriptures written on the bible. The story
out of fantasy may be good, but the writing is terrible and it does
advocate subliminal rape and and psychopathic abuse. I hope people who
reads this need not to take it literally. If there is gonna be porn on a
mainstream movie, well…I’m gonna be flabbergasted because most extremely
sexual movies never made it past the R rating, probably except that one
dancing movie in the 90s played by Elizabeth Berkley.

I think the books were a bit silly, but I really appreciate her humility!
Actually, as far as fanfiction goes, it’s pretty damn good; it is mundane,
    though, for fanfic.

I absolutely loved all three books! I plan to re-read them until the movie
comes out. I don’t understand what all the fuss is about that people hate
them so much. Number 1 best seller, obviously someone liked it. Stop all
the hating, just because you didn’t think of it first. I fell asleep during
the first Twilight movie & have never watched any of them, nor read the
books. These two are not vampires & they didn’t start off in high school.
Not sure how they would compare the two. Oh well! My husband liked that I
    read the books! :)

I dislike this book deeply. If you don’t agree the writing is terrible
then: a) you have never read any good/real literature in your life, b) you
have read good literature before but are plain dumb.

I was recommended this book by a colleague at work who told me it was
brilliant. This started a conversation about the last few books that we had
read. My answer was “The Wasp Factory” by Iain Banks, and a re-read of
“Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte to name a few. Her answer was “The
Twilight Series” and then can’t remember any books before that.
I did read it, I read all three because I wanted to make up my own mind.
They are awful. The characters are completely unlikeable and unbelievable
as people. There is no real story, and the attempt at a small story in the
2nd and 3rd books are just plain boring. Even the sex isn’t very
interesting after a while (and lets face it, it’s the main reason for
reading the book) it’s very repetitive, and really not as kinky as I was
    expecting.
In conclusion, this book is for people who don’t like books.

What are they thinking with the cast. Only 2 of them are good choices, the
mom and Christian. Everybody else seems like horrible casting. Especially
    Jose and Ana.

I’m just reasoning out that Matt’s gay, he’s one of my choices as you can
see. That would be err… awkward, but i’m not saying he doesn’t deserve
    it.

I think it is beyond incorrect to call this woman an author. This book
(what little I’ve been read of it) is even more poorly written than
Twilight and the main characters are just as lifeless. Not to mention the
book posits that women should essentially be nothing more than the
possession of a man. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for BDSM but when the male
character stalks the female one she’s HAPPY about it. This is not
literature. This is nothing more than the drivel of someone who (from
reading the sex scenes) has never had sex and decided that she was going to
put her Twilight fan fiction into print. She should’ve saved us all the
horror of this piece of garbage.
