Waaaaay too much damage lol. So far with this and the bombs, there won’t be
View Commentany PvP because all you need is a single rocket to completely tear the
biggest ships apart.
Please add shields or heavy armour some protection or a heavy torpedo
View Commentlauncher heywill there ever bw like planets and shiz
God I hope there is going to be some sort of system where you can go into a
View Commentshop menu or something and get your ship repaired so that you don’t have to
rebuild every single block that gets broken. like some sort of insurance
that will replace the entire ship for an exact copy for the price of the
materials and such
Nice! I will build it in my ship :3
View CommentJust perfect no one leaves battles unscratched love that concept lets PvP
View Commentjunkies think before they attack some one
please make a mac version :`(
View CommentPlease keep the naval engagement as classical/WWII era as possible. Shields
View Commentand silly laser/plasma weapons (except perhaps massive expensive ones that
would actually work in real life), and lock on targeting would just cheapen
the experience.
Holy shit snacks! Thank you
View CommentSo,now i understood, why creator of the game do not add rockets and weapons
View Commentfrom the start of alpha – because, in the other case, players even did not
start to build in the fun of destroying rage)))
Looks like space combat is going to be gritty, and bloody. Gone are the
days of clean lasers firing at clean energy shields until someone retreats,
and no one gets hurt. It seems in space engineers that if you take a hit,
you’re going to feel it. No one escapes battle unscathed.
Please, for the love of god, don’t cheapen the experience by adding “energy
shields” and other future fantasy tropes. Keep it real, within the
confines of gameplay.
The decision to go into battle needs to be a heady one. All victories
View Commentshould be pyrrhic victories.
0:20 How delightful
View CommentFor the love of god I hope that these damage models are artificially
inflated for testing or something. Those things look damn near as potent
as large warheads… they should be weaker than SMALL warheads. Otherwise
what’s the point of having warheads at all?
I thought that was the idea, the prefab turrets would be for light
defense/offense, the warheads would be for taking out super large ships and
bases… but from the looks of it the warheads are meant to just be
set-in-place explosives for things like sabotage (presumably they’ll keep
the ridiculously volumnous inventory so common in block style games) and
maybe mining. Why the hell else would you use them when the rockets will
no doubt be cheaper to build (they’re a tiny fraction of the size after
all) and still have comparable explosive power.
This is a really disappointing update if these things aren’t going to be
View Commentnerfed down to a tiny fraction of their current power… if they stay like
this the combat will be very bland, with players’ ingenuity being
incedental to how many rockets they strapped onto their ship. It would be
a mindbogglingly bad design choice to make the primary heavy weaponry tiny
tiny prefab rockets as opposed to the large ‘warheads’ attached to
player-designed propulsive mechanisms, which having the prefab rockets
inside an order of magnitude of the warheads’ destructive potential
guarantees.
To much focus on weapons.. More harvesting and building!
View CommentOh…my….god!
View Comment:D
Look cool, but they should have add photon torpedo, turbo laser, and pulse
View Commentcannon.
GREAT WORK!!!!!!
View Comment0:14 love that scene!
View CommentEither warheads should have a larger blast radius, rockets should have
View Commentsmaller blast radius, or both. Seems to me that rockets are prefferable in
every way at the moment, in comparison to player-built torpedos with
warheads.
Finally!
View CommentDon’t you think the rockets are a little bit OP right now? I mean it cut
View Commentthrough a corvette size ship like it was butter…Maybe it won’t be if a
shield system is implemented? And as more and more damage is taken by the
shield, the more power it demands?
I don’t even have this game (yet) but I am subbed to this channel lol
View CommentI’m becoming more and more happy I bought this game early. One suggestion.
Can we add a tool to repaint a ship without having to replace it’s parts?
View CommentIt’s kind of annoying to remove/replace every single piece just to change
the color.
Other than that, I’m thrilled at the way it’s developing.
You’ve woken my inner geek. Be warned.
it is a little OP.
View CommentEpic tho the missiles are hell OP
View CommentPretty sure it’s just for testing purposes, relax guys…
Personally, though, I think they should not have stock weapons at all, but
instead make it so you can configure your own weapons for the stats you
want.
For example, if you want a hard-hitting rocket, it will have to suffer in
View Commentterms of velocity and rate of fire. If you want fast firing ones, it will
do far less damage.
