Question by Lucy: How to drink a lot of alcohol without getting too drunk?
There is a big drinking get together at my friends tomorrow. We will be playing drinking games and there will be A LOT of alcohol, anyway I love drinking so I don’t just want to refuse. But I don’t want to get ridiculously drunk. What tips are there to not get drunk so easy? Is there anything I can do/eat/drink before I go out ect?

Once you feel drunk, don’t drink anymore. I always get worried I’m gonna get wasted, but I never do, as long as you control yourself your good.

    Make sure you eat something substantial before you go out drinking. Even a glass of milk could help.

    Also, stay hydrated. Make every other drink water with no booze.

    Eat before you go, then when you get there drink light beer. It was custom designed for people who can’t hold their alcohol.

    Be strategic about it. Drink a shot when playing but then take a break, go to the bathroom, walk out side and have some water (not all at the same time but the point is to take a break between drinks).

    I have used this strategy with great success for 30 years. And, the water between drinks does a great job of reducing or eliminating you from becoming sick the next day.

    i always tell girls to be just a little more careful than guys when drinking (except when driving is involved when EVERYBODY should avoid it). Never lose control. Once you’ve lost control, you can be taken advantage of.

    eat well , before hand ! cereal is too light , eat a heavy meal with lotsa carbohydrates , drink some liquids before hand , like orange juice , water .. dont mix alcoholic drinks , like vodka with rum !

    space youre drinks , when you start catching a buzz !

    Eating fat (cheese, meat) either before or while drinking helps slow down metabolism of alcohol.

    Drink beer. Best way to not get trashed. If you don’t drink beer just stop drinking when you feel drunk.

    pretend to drink when everyone else is drinking and not really drink. and only get buzzed thats what i do.
