Q&A: Universities overseas: How important is it that the University is relatively well known?

Question by O: Universities overseas: How important is it that the University is relatively well known?
I’m applying to university this year and am seriously considering sending in applications to several universities overseas.

However, the few that I have in mind aren’t very well known where I reside, and I’m concerned that post graduation this may create some problems for me when the time comes for me to establish a career.

So my question to you is: do you think that if I were to attend a more ‘unknown’ university overseas, would it have much of an impact on me when trying to establish a career in my native country?

Thanks for the help and advice!
