I wonder why some advise us to use slang english and most of us not native
or from english speaking countries and only studied english at school , I
read many ielts books and they never used a slang word like gonna or wanna
, and also english teachesr refuse to say yea in class instead of yes as
    they consider this inproper

I quite agree with the 8.5/9 rating. She is a good and natural speaker, but
nothing special, really. She only occasionally used more complex words
(like secluded) or advanced grammatical forms. I expect, with proper
training, to get a 8.5 as well on IELTS.

Hello, I just received my IELTS Indicative test results and my scores were
    as such. L=8.5, R=9, W=7.5, S=7. Overall = 8. I am a bit disappointed with
my Speaking score are I have been speaking in english all my life. 🙁
However, thank you very much for the videos. I only used to watch your
videos to prepare and I hardly prepared for a week. I also referred the
booklet I received from IELTS for preparation. Thank you again for helping
me get a general idea of what the format of the test is and how to answer
each section. The tips were great too! Thank you again! I am very happy
    with my overall score!

if a prepared native speaker can only get 8.5, why the full mark is 9?

If 9 is that tough then i guess even the interviewers are incompetent for
    achieving it

I really don’t get how things like eye-contact, confidence and being
excited play a role in the IELTS test. I myself am a quite confident guy
but what about people that are rather shy or people who might even suffer
from social anxiety?? I mean after all IELTS is an English language test
and not a confidence test so why are these things being taken into
    consideration????
