Wow! That was an awesome video and I definitely will be taking all 20 of
those tips next time I’m out travelling 🙂 I have already experienced couch
surfing and had nothing but good experiences as I was hesitant at first. My
friend and I were thinking of heading to Nepal in 2014 so I will be
vlogging and writing a blog for that adventure!

Great Video Graham. I have learned to travel very similar to your video. In
the last 2 years I have traveled to 6 countries and now blog online so I
don’t have to work and I can continue to travel. The only thing I really do
different is I carry around prepaid credit cards with me. If I lose one or
get mugged I’m only out $500.00. I carry one with a low balance in a dummy
wallet with about $100.00 cash. That way thieves will be sure they got my
    real wallet.

I’m def’ traveling alone and I’m quite excited for that adventure. What I
can’t figure out yet is, how do you find refreshments in Italy if you don’t
drink alcohol????? (Just have to stick with water?)

I’m into some questionning right now… I work in the field of policing and
military (and I’m also in my early twenties)… my jobs pretty much attach
me to certain areas therefore I don’t really have the liberty to travel
where I want. What are ideas of jobs that could combine the freedom of
traveling and the financing of these travels. Thanks!

Yes, I have traveled alone and it was one of the best trips I’ve had. I
went to Hawaii to celebrate getting out of a bad marriage. It was all about
what I wanted to do for a change. I hiked, ate whatever and wherever I
wanted. Stayed at the zoo just watching the flamingos as long as I wanted.
It was a wonderful time to refill my bucket. I even rented a convertible!

I traveled to Eastern Europe last year by myself, and I can tell you I have
never met so much people before when traveling with company. It was great.

I’ll be traveling to Asia this year by myself. Hope it’s as great as the
    last time.

    Great video.

Lone travelers always seem so sad. Its been said that traveling alone is
like a mere dream. It takes someone to share the experience with to make it
    special.

Been there, done that, traveling solo is too lonely. I’d rather comprises
with another – you never know what ideas your companion comes up with and
    you’ll enjoy.

I’m 21 and I have travelled alone across North America and Europe (London,
Liverpool, Munich, Rome, Boston, NYC, Toronto. Washington, Miami, Chicago,
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Vancouver) and I
would recommend it to anyone. Sure, you will get lonely, but the long
lasting life experiences are worth it. I can’t agree more with the
suggestions in the video, and you will talk to other travellers. I met two
people who live in the same area of Ottawa Canada that I do, one on the
tube in London, and another at Anfield in Liverpool, in addition to all the
amazing local people around the world who will be very polite to tourists
    an will love to talk.

Excellent advice. Never limit yourself to having to be with others to enjoy
travelling. Of course, having a companion is really good too but there’s
too much in this world to experience and you don’t want to miss out.
