honey if anyone knew the answer to that, they’d be billionaires. fact is they don’t really know, some cancers seem to be caused by environmental toxins, some seem to be genetic, and some there is no explanation for. There is not just one cancer you see, there are many forms of cancer and all are different in their make up and therefore, likely different in their causes.

god. god created man, then got created millions of cancer causing chemicals and radiation. that cheeky bastard.

a glitch in your genes causes cells to grow abnormally.

Nuns have the highest rate of breast cancer because they don’t have sex. they produce copious amounts of estrogen from their lack of sex.

Cancer is caused due to cell disordered growth

Most cancers are random. However, these are factors that have linked to increased chances.

    1. Smoking– by far the number 1 factor and the cause of about 90-95% of lung cancer cases.

    2. Sun exposure. The main cause of melanoma. Although why some people get it, and some dont is really not known.

    3. Diet. Colon cancer and some other digestive track cancers have been linked to poor diets.

    4. Alcohol. Liver and some other caners have shown some links to alcohol abuse.

    5. Expose to chemicls/toxins– also linked to various cancers.

And im sure there are other things as well. But as i said before, most cancer cases are random and not do to lifestyle or exporse to harmful factors.

Cancer happens when normal cells change so that they grow in an uncontrolled way.

Nobody knows what causes this to happen. Nobody knows what causes cancer.

There are factors that increase your risk of some cancer, some are avoidable and some are not.

Age is the biggest risk factor; most people diagnosed with cancer are over 60.

Smoking is a major risk factor for lung cancer and also a risk factor for some other cancers (not all). Excessive sun exposure is a risk factor for skin cancers. A diet high in red and processed meat is a risk factor for colorectal cancers. The sexually transmitted HPV virus is linked to cervical cancer.

But many people develop all of these cancers without being exposed to those risk factors.

Fewer than 10% of all cancer cases are hereditary.

Cancer affects the healthy and the unhealthy alike. It happens when normal cells change so that they grow in an uncontrolled way. Nobody knows what causes this to happen. And nobody knows why of two people with the same risk factors (or lack of them) one will get cancer and the other won’t

Cancer is uncontrolled cell growth. It is caused by environmental factors, usually animal based diets, exposure to pollutants such as conventional drugs, cigarettes, asbestos, also radiation received from undergoing mammograms, amongst other causes.

Cancer is caused by damage (mutations) to the DNA within cells. Your DNA contains a set of instructions for your cells, telling them how to grow and divide. Normal cells often develop mutations in their DNA, but they have the ability to repair most of these mutations. Or, if they can’t make the repairs, the cells often die. However, certain mutations aren’t repaired, causing the cells to grow and become cancerous. Mutations also cause cancer cells to live beyond their normal cell life span. This causes the cancerous cells to accumulate.

In some cancers, accumulating cells form a tumor. But not all cancers form tumors. For example, leukemia is a cancer that involves blood, bone marrow, the lymphatic system and the spleen, but doesn’t form a single mass or tumor.

The initial genetic mutation is just the beginning of the process by which cancer develops. Scientists believe you need a number of changes within a cell in order to develop cancer, including:

■An initiator to cause a genetic mutation. Sometimes you’re born with this genetic mutation. Other times a genetic mutation is caused by forces within your body, such as hormones, viruses and chronic inflammation. Genetic mutations can also be caused by forces outside of your body, such as ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun or cancer-causing chemicals (carcinogens) in your environment.

    – A promoter to cause rapid cell growth. Promoters take advantage of genetic mutations created by initiators. Promoters cause cells to divide more rapidly. This could lead to an accumulation of cells, such as a tumor. Promoters could be inherited, could come from inside your body or could come from outside your body.
    – A progressor to cause cancer to become aggressive and spread. Without a progressor a tumor may remain benign and localized. Progressors make cancers more aggressive, more likely to invade and destroy nearby tissue, and more likely to spread to other parts of your body. Like initiators and promoters, progressors could be inherited or they could come from environmental sources.

Your genetic makeup, forces within your body, your lifestyle choices and your environment can all set the stage for cancer or help complete the process once it’s started. For instance, if you’ve inherited a genetic mutation that predisposes you to cancer, you may be more likely than other people to develop cancer when exposed to a certain cancer-causing substance. The genetic mutation begins the cancer process, and the cancer-causing substance could play a role in further cancer development. Likewise, smokers who work with asbestos are more likely to develop lung cancer than are smokers who don’t work with asbestos. That’s because tobacco smoke and asbestos both play roles in cancer development.-

Cancer is not a mutation or an cell gone wrong that grows out of control. That has been theorized for decades, but new research is showing that cancer cells are actually under control within the body. Our bodies grow cancer cells intentionally only when they have no choice – much like how our body will grow a callus on our hand if it NEEDS the callus to help cope with the stress continually on the surface of our hands.
Cancer is grown by our body in response to excess, chronic emotional stress AND/OR excess, chronic physical stress AND/OR excess chronic mental stress AND/OR excess chronic spiritual stress.
The only way we can prevent cancer, or TURN OFF its development is by addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual stressors in our lives in a way that reduces those stressors to a level that is healthy – a level where cancer cells will NOT be NEEDED. Then our body simply stops producing them.
The old theory has been leading to a war on cancer that is not ending and has never truly worked because it does not eliminate the true reasons for cancers development. It’s like burning a callus off our hand, without changing what’s causing the callus’ growth. The old theory makes it impossible to address the cause because all the focus and energy is on destroying cancer cells since the idea is that they are the result of a genetic mutation.

Those who are aware, understand that cancer is caused by acids. Acids damage cells and cells mutate damage. The most common cause of cancer is the ingestion of wrong foods (acid-forming foods), such as animal products (meat, dairy, eggs), refined foods, salt, etc. Smoking is an acid as well. Most other diseases are also caused by acid and mucus-forming foods. If we eat a low-fat plant-based diet, we have much less risk of disease, and when we eat a species appropriate diet ( for humans it is fruit and vegetables), and detox and strengthen our cells with the aid of fasting and herbs, there is almost nothing we can't cure, and, I believe, we will die of old age, like all the other non-domesticated animals. If you want more truth, lookup Robert Morse N.D. on YouTube (who has cured thousands of many diseased people) and the 80/10/10 diet by Douglas Graham (a raw fruit-based diet with thousands of followers). God bless you…

A very shortened version of how cancer is formed –

Cancer is just when a cell of your body grows and continues to grow whilst your normal cells stop at a certain point… There are factors like smoking, drinking and injury which alter your cells and increase the chance of a cell to become cancerous and continue to grow…That is a narrowed down version of how it can happen and why..I hope it helped
