It didnt, it made the society realize that sinners will be punished in the next life.

Society was civilized as long as it was a christian culture up until the 1960’s. In the 1960’s we changed our culture into a secular humanist culture and then society became uncivilized. You must be a very young person. You haven’t been around very long. Back in the 40’s and the 50’s you could go on vacation and leave your house unlocked. You could leave your car unlocked parked in the street. The divorce rates were minimal. Single parent moms were very rare. Crime was low, high school graduation rates were almost 100% throughout the country, gangs were nothing compared to what they are today, drug addiction was also very rare and sexual transmitted diseases were unheard of, as was abortion. Our society was a christian culture from the days of the pilgrims in 1620 up until the early 1960’s. In the early 1960’s, the culture change plans of John Dewey and all the Humanist manifesto crowd finally took hold beginning with the sexual revolution and we finally went from a christian culture to a secular culture and all of the statistics changed drammatically from that point on(you can trace it). Divorce went up 400%, murder, burglary, rape went up 1000%. SAT scores in school fell through the floor. Gangs started to rule cities. We’ve aborted 40 million babies since 1973 and Roe vs. Wade. Divorce has created another class of poor(single parent moms). Drug cartels rule the roost and millions of young people have a drug problem. The STD rate is in the stratisphere. Some cities like Cleveland only has a 30% high school graduation rate. Los Angeles has been burnt down twice in riots(1969 and 1995). The real question is not “how did christianity uncivilize society”(if you can give me one example of christianity uncivilizing society please do so). The real question is “how did secular people turn the most civilized and prosperous society the world has ever known into an uncivilized society”. Your making an accusation with nothing to back it up. In logic that’s called an ‘argument from silence’.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: YOU SAY YOU WANT FACTS NOT OPINIONS. I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WON’T FIND THEM IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS BECAUSE PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE NO LONGER ABOUT EDUCATION BUT ABOUT INDOCTRINATION. iF YOU WANT FACTS, HERE ARE SOME LINKS.
